Chris tries to keep the Charmed Ones busy hunting demons while he has secretly hidden Leo away on the Island of Valhalla with the Valkyries, women warriors who are training male warrior spirits for the final battle between good and evil. Phoebe, who has a new power of empathy that she can't control, and Paige, who is trying to have a life outside of being a witch and finds herself dog-walking, are worried about Piper, who is much too chipper considering she has been abandoned by her husband and hasn't heard from him in months. Paige tries to use a spell to help out Piper, but only succeeds in erasing her memory. Phoebe and Paige try to hunt down Leo for help, and Chris finally reveals that Leo has been kidnapped. The Charmed Ones figure out where Leo is, and impersonate Valkyries to rescue him, but Piper, with her damaged memory and damaged psyche, thinks that she is a Valkyrie and stays with them when the others escape. Phoebe has to learn to channel her new power of empathy to make Piper feel all the emotions she has bottled up inside so that she comes back to her sisters. Piper tells Leo that she needs some time apart from him to figure out how to be a single mom. Chris secretly mutters about how he will need to be protected from Wyatt in the future. Wyatt starts to show off Whitelighter-like powers of orbing. Paige ends up dating one of her dogs when she lifts the curse and turns him back into a handsome man. Wyatt's existence, and any memory of him, are erased by the Cleaners due to magic exposure. The Charmed Ones go about their lives, but realize that there are a number of things they have forgotten. They cast a spell, go back in time one day, and realize that they've forgotten about Wyatt. As the day progresses, they try to figure out what happened to make Wyatt become erased, and soon learn it's because Wyatt conjured a dragon out of the TV. Piper gets rid of the dragon by taunting it and showing Wyatt that she's in danger, so Wyatt gets rid of the dragon. However, the Cleaners, who clean up both good and bad exposed magic, still think Wyatt is too much of a risk, and once again they take him away from Piper. However, due to the spell they cast, this time the Charmed Ones keep their memories, and they make public magical disasters until the Cleaners agree to give them back Wyatt. At a new temp job, Paige helps a co-worker deal with the serious sexual harassment of her boss. Phoebe still struggles with controlling her new power of empathy and luckily has the Cleaners erase a huge brawl that she started at the office. Three evil blonde witches manage to magically steal the Charmed Ones' identities and then their powers. With the help of some gremlins that Paige met at her latest temp job, the real Charmed Ones convince Chris that their identities have been stolen, and Chris sets the evil blondes against each other, essentially making them self-destruct. Piper realizes that Wyatt needs some time with his dad. Leo makes it clear to Chris that he's figured out who sent him to Valhalla, he just needs proof. Through her latest temp job, Paige walks into the middle of a feud between two magical families, the Callaways and the Montanas, and finds herself attracted to one of the sons, Richard Montana. When the Charmed Ones begin to think that the feud is being spurred on by a ghost, they hold a seance with the two unwilling families and meet the bitter ghost of Olivia Callaway, former love of Richard Montana who was killed by Richard's brother and then killed Richard's father in revenge. After the seance, Olivia secretly possesses Paige, reinvigorates the feud, and then kidnaps an injured Richard to her own tomb. The Callaways and Montanas come together to help the Charmed Ones find and save both Richard and Paige. Paige convinces Olivia to give up on revenge and move on to the spirit realm. Piper goes on an awkward first date, but later tells Leo that perhaps they should get officially divorced. Phoebe continues to have trouble as an empath, driving her sisters nuts. Leo busts Chris getting a potion to block an empath, and Chris covers that he was getting it to help the Charmed Ones, but really he wants it for himself. More...

Chris worries that the Charmed Ones are too busy trying to lead normal lives, and are ignoring their witchly duties. Chris teams up with the demon Gith, who feeds on people's desires, and tells Gith what it is that the Charmed Ones desire, hoping to teach them a lesson. Gith creates alternate realities for each of the sisters: Phoebe gets a syndicated talk show and a huge fan base, Paige is in a world where using magic all the time is okay, and Piper is in a world without magic. (Phoebe, due to her empath power, channeled Jasons's desires for her.) Phoebe's situation gets desperate when a fan tries to shoot her and gets Jason instead, Piper worries when Wyatt gets a fever and she can't find Leo to come heal him, and Paige finds herself constantly being attacked by demons. Chris tries to stop Gith, figuring the sisters have learned their lesson, but Gith shoots him with a darklighter arrow. Chris manages to send Phoebe into Paige's reality, but Piper gets in a car accident while trying to get Wyatt to hospital. Paige and Phoebe channel their desires to get themselves to Piper, and they're just in time to save her from Gith. When Gith dies in a car explosion, the sisters find themselves in Gith's cave, and they call Leo to heal Wyatt and Chris. With evidence that Chris killed a valkyrie, Leo threatens to take Chris before an elder tribunal, but lets him off the hook after Chris almost dies while apparently trying to save the Charmed Ones. Her sisters advise her to forget about it and move on, but Paige can't, even after she finds out that her boss sold his soul to a demon for monetary gain. Paige, with some help from Richard Montana, trades her soul for her boss's, setting him free, and counts on her angry sisters to save her, which they do. Leo is following Chris again, and they end up falling through a time portal together into the clutches of a hungry dinosaur. The Charmed Ones find themselves in possession of the famed sword in the stone, Excalibur. Many magical beings come to the manor to try to get it out of the stone, but it's Piper who seems to have the magic touch. A magical being named Mordaunt arrives to train her in the use of the sword and help her recruit demons as knights of the round table, but he ends up turning her against her sisters and trying to steal the sword's power for himself. It turns out that the sword is actually destined for Wyatt, and Wyatt wields its power to get rid of Mordaunt. Paige and Richard spend the night together, and Richard helps fix things around the house... magically. Phoebe worries about Paige being with Richard, but when she approaches Paige about it they end up in huge fight. The Charmed Ones vanquish a Manticore, but can't bring themselves to vanquish its cute baby. They bring the baby home, but then the baby and Piper are kidnapped by a strange beast. Phoebe and Paige team up with the Manticores to rescue Piper, but they are horrified when they find out that the beast is actually a human and he's trying to raise his half-Manticore baby. Leo heals the beast, who now appears human after coming close to death, and the Charmed Ones go after the Manticores to get the baby back. Phoebe tells Jason she loves him "too" before he even has a chance to tell her he loves her first. Jason pulls away from Phoebe, and she worries that he's doing the standard run away from feelings thing, but he finally admits to her that he'd just like to be able to tell her his own feelings before she tells him what they are first. A mysterious woman comes from the future and attacks Chris, and Chris denies knowing her even though he calls her by her name, Bianca. It turns out that Bianca is Chris's fiance from the future, and although she comes from a long line of witch assassins, she and Chris fight together to save the future from evil. Chris has come back to the past to protect Wyatt and save him from evil, thereby saving their future from evil, but now Bianca has come back to hunt him down, somehow convinced that this will save his life. Bianca steals Chris's powers and drags him back to their future, where he faces Wyatt, the powerful evil that now rules the world. Luckily, the Charmed Ones figure out a way to get Chris's powers back to him in the future. In the fight between Chris and a grown-up Wyatt, Bianca is killed, and Chris escapes back to the past, where he continues to hide the future from the Charmed Ones for their own good. Piper, who has been dating a fireman, encourages Paige and Phoebe to pursue their own lives and dreams, and Paige considers moving in with Richard while Phoebe considers going to Hong Kong with Jason. Phoebe and Paige have moved out to be with the men in their lives, and Piper has taken over their rooms and put their stuff in that attic. When looking for their stuff, Paige finds an old box of Grams's stuff, and tries on a pair of Grams's old go go boots from the '60s. The boots magically transport Paige to the manor in 1967, where she meets flower-child Penny and her hippie husband (and the Charmed Ones' grandfather) Alan. Meanwhile, in the now, the manor is being attacked by a green slimy demon that feeds on magic, and Piper and Phoebe call on Grams's ghost for help in finding Paige. Penny (Grams) sends Piper and Phoebe back to the past to stop Paige from changing it. Penny says that where (when) Paige is, her husband Alan is about to be killed, and if that doesn't happen, then Penny will stay a peace-loving flower child and won't turn into the demon-fighting machine that she is. Phoebe and Piper aren't in time to keep Paige from saving Alan, but he dies later that day in another attack by a warlock. Unfortunately, instead of flying into a rage and killing the warlock like she's supposed to, Penny just weeps over the body of her dead husband. In desperation, the Charmed Ones finally admit to Penny who they are, and she finally fights the demon to protect her future grandchildren. The Charmed Ones come back to the present just in time to vanquish the green slime before it overcomes Chris and Leo. Phoebe and Paige go back to their lives with Jason and Richard. Piper admits to Leo that she's lonely with her sisters gone. Leo keeps trying to get Chris to tell him what happens to Wyatt in the future. More...

On Piper's birthday, she decides to give up on men and concentrate on keeping Wyatt safe. Chris tells Piper she can't give up on love, even for Wyatt's sake. Phoebe and Paige plot to magically create the perfect man for Piper, who will exist for 24 hours to remind her that love is worth it. In the meantime, a demon cult called The Order has decided that Wyatt is their dead leader reincarnated, and they figure out a way to change Wyatt's morality so that he shields himself from the people he trusts, and leaves himself open to demons. Chris thinks the best way to protect Wyatt would be to bind his powers, and he messes with Piper's magical perfect man to try to convince the Charmed Ones of that too. Chris's machinations result in the Charmed Ones all falling for Piper's perfect man, and in the ensuing chaos, The Order kidnaps Wyatt. Chris finally admits that he came back from the future to prevent this very thing: Wyatt becoming evil. Chris uses the fact that Wyatt never trusted him to get inside Wyatt's shield and reverse the demons' spell over him. Chris now has to earn back the Charmed Ones' trust after having lied to and manipulated them for so long. Leo gives Piper the perfect present for her birthday.

Phoebe tries to get up the nerve to finally tell Jason she is a witch, but he finds out by accident first and totally freaks out. As Paige and Piper are hunting the swarm demons, the last demons that Chris says are a threat to Wyatt, Richard worries about his bad karma from his family and tries to cast a karma-cleansing spell. His spell doesn't work, and ends up making Phoebe channel the spirit of an executed French spy/stripper, Mata Hari. Phoebe then tries to take revenge on Jason for rejecting her and ruins his announcement of a big merger with a French company. When Phoebe is kidnapped by the swarm demons, she tries to make a deal with them to kill Jason and then she'll help them destroy the Charmed Ones. Richard gives Jason a potion with which to cure Phoebe, and just before the swarm demons kill him, he throws it at her. Phoebe saves Jason's life, and together with her sisters they destroy the swarm demons. Phoebe apologizes to Jason and he says maybe they need to take a break. Piper worries about Wyatt becoming evil in the future. Richard begins to practice witchcraft again.

Piper thinks about putting Wyatt into a normal preschool. The manor gets a new door that leads to magic school, and a teacher from the school comes to the Charmed Ones and asks for their help in ridding the school of The Headless Horseman, who keeps cutting the heads off teachers. Gideon, the headmaster of the school, is considering shutting down the school, for fear of people getting hurt. Piper gets her head cut off, but since she was in the magic school at the time, she stays alive. Finally the Charmed Ones figure out which bitter student has been using his power of telepathy to channel others' powers and they convince the student to let go of his vendetta against Gideon. Phoebe meets a shaman in the school who sends her on a vision quest. Phoebe see the future, with Paige a teacher at the school, Wyatt having a little brother, and Phoebe herself pregnant. Phoebe figures out that Chris is Wyatt's little brother, but Chris worries that if he doesn't get Piper and Leo back together, that he won't get a chance to exist. Paige worries about Richard since she hasn't heard from him in a couple of days, and she considers binding his powers.

Chris begs for help from Phoebe to get Leo and Piper back together so that he can be conceived. Phoebe finds a genie named Jinny, and gets tricked into wishing her free. It turns out Jinny is actually demon who was trapped as a genie, and since Phoebe wished her free, Phoebe has to take her place. Paige tries to do a magic intervention with Richard who has started using magic to give Paige extravangant gifts, but Richard won't listen to anyone. Chris becomes Phoebe-genie's new master, and tries to use her to get Leo and Piper to sleep together, but his wish comes true literally and Piper and Leo fall asleep together. Chris at least ruins Piper's relationship with Greg the fireman by showing him Piper and Leo all curled up asleep together. Jinny comes back to use Phoebe-genie to find a evil magical city, but Richard ends up with Phoebe's bottle instead. Richard wants to use Phoebe-genie to wish Paige into not caring if he uses magic, but then decides to try to show Paige how selfless he can be and wishes Phoebe free, not knowing that he will now become the genie. Jinny steals Richard-genie and wishes the Charmed Ones dead. Phoebe and Paige die and their ghosts rise from their bodies. Piper's ghost rises from her sleeping body, and she calls to Leo, and Leo, asleep, somehow heals her. This causes Phoebe and Paige's ghosts not to move on, and they team up with Chris to go possess Jinny, get Richard back, wish Jinny back into the bottle, and make all the Charmed Ones alive again. Richard realizes he has to bind his powers and say goodbye to Paige to get rid of all magic in his life.

A Darklighter, on someone else's orders, goes after Leo and manages to trap both him and Piper in the ghostly plane. Meanwhile, Chris starts disappearing (like Michael J. Fox in "Back to the Future") because he has to be conceived soon or not at all. Phoebe and Paige try to figure out where Piper and Leo have gone and how to get them back, but it's Chris, who is beginning to cross through the ghostly plane himself on the way to not existing, that makes contact. Meanwhile, the Darklighter shoots a powerless Leo, and he and Piper, afraid that this might be their last chance to be together, make love. Phoebe and Paige, with some help from Gideon, save Leo and Piper, and a disappeared Chris pops back into existence. Leo, with counsel from Gideon, realizes that he can't keep hanging around and should just go up and be an Elder already. Phoebe and Paige tell Piper who Chris really is. Gideon tells the Darklighters that they achieved their goal of getting Leo out of the picture, even if it wasn't the way he intended. Gideon says that Wyatt should never have been born, because it was too much power in one being, and now that Leo's gone he can make sure to correct that mistake.

Phoebe goes to her high school reunion and accidentally ends up magically reverting to her old "bad girl" self. She casts a spell on her classmates to make them teenagers again too, and starts wreaking havoc with her old friends, including breaking their old gang-leader out of prison. When things really start to get violent, however, Phoebe reverts to her adult self, and she has to stop her old friend from robbing an armored car while making sure she keeps another old classmate safe. Piper calls on her dad, Victor, for help with Chris when she senses Chris avoiding her. Chris is happy to spend some time with his favorite grandfather, and admits that he's keeping his distance from Piper because she dies when he is 14 years old, and he doesn't want to get attached to his mother again only to lose her. Victor encourages Chris to make the best of the time he has with Piper, and not worry too much about the future, which already might have been changed.

A Spider Demon, who needs a magical being to feed off of, is after Piper, and poisons Chris, slowly turning him into another Spider Demon. Chris, who is not himself, help the Spider demon cocoon and kidnap Piper. Phoebe, against Paige's advice, calls Leo and tells him the Piper is pregnant and Chris is his son. With help from some forest creatures that Paige saved from a wicked witch, Leo, Phoebe and Paige save Piper. Leo tries to reason with a confused Chris, but Chris just attacks him and starts beating him. It's Piper who saves Chris from the Spider's poison by drinking an antidote that affects him in utero. Chris, now himself again, continues to beat on Leo until Piper pulls him away. Gideon continues to secretly plot against Wyatt, and scolds Leo for getting involved with the Charmed Ones and leaving the Elders. Leo decides to stay down on earth because his family needs him. Piper decides she and Wyatt should stay at the magic school for safety, particularly because Chris doesn't have an in utero force field like Wyatt did. Chris tells his dad that he was never there for him growing up. Leo was always there for Wyatt, for Piper, and for inumerable other people in the world, but not for Chris. Phoebe does her own version of speed-dating trying to find her soul mate so that she can start working on the future that she saw for herself.

Phoebe continues to date madly to find the future father of her child, and even goes so far as to make potions to help her premonitions so that she can weed out the losers faster. When Phoebe and Paige help Darryl get a killer who is also possessed by a demon, they are confused when Darryl is later imprisoned on murder charges. It turns out that the sisters were caught on tape while vanquishing the demon, and the Cleaners have sacrificed Darryl in order to keep magic a secret. The sisters, with reluctant help from Gideon, appeal to the Magic Tribunal of Demons and Elders who control the Cleaners. The Charmed Ones are horrified when they find Barbas, the demon of fear, arguing against them in court. Through testimony that can be holographically recreated, the Charmed Ones try to show all the good that they've done, and argue that Darryl shouldn't have to die on death row, while Barbas shows how much the Charmed Ones have abused their powers and put magic in danger over and over again. With help from Leo and Chris, the sisters prove that Barbas set them up, and the Tribunal agrees to spare Darryl, but they strip Phoebe of her powers and tell her that she has abused them for personal gain and needs to earn them back. Barbas is pleased with the result, as it helps him escape from purgatory. In secret, Barbas taunts Gideon with the fact that he knows that Gideon is after Wyatt.

With Piper hiding at magic school, and Phoebe without her powers, Paige finds herself the only active Charmed One. Paige conjures her own Mr. Right for a little stress relief, but accidentally conjures an evil Mr. Wrong as well. Mr. Wrong gets Chris arrested, and after his recent experiences, Darryl refuses to help out and let Chris free. Leo and Chris get a little bit closer when Leo busts Chris out of jail. Mr. Wrong, with his army of Demonatrixes, seduces Paige away, and convinces her to go after Piper. Phoebe infilatrates the Demonatrixes, saves Piper, and together they vanquish Mr. Wrong. Phoebe learns she's not as powerless as she thought she was. Piper and Leo start to talk about their relationship and their new child being born.

The Charmed Ones get more frantic to find who turns Wyatt evil when Chris admits that it happens before he is born. Phoebe consults her newspaper's crime editor for advice on narrowing down who may be after Wyatt. Gideon realizes that the Charmed Ones are closing in on his plan and tries to find a way to distract them. Gideon turns to two demons, Corr and Clea, who have started a Witch Wars reality show. In Witch Wars, demons go after witches, and the winner gets to take home all the powers. However, Corr and Clea are secretly plotting to steal some high level demon powers for themselves. Gideon makes a deal with Corr and Clea, and plants demonic cameras in the Charmed Ones' house so that they can secretly be filmed for the show. Corr and Clea use this opportunity to attract some high level demons to the show, and after the Charmed Ones vanquish most of them, they steal all the high level powers and go after the Charmed Ones themselves. The Charmed Ones figure out what's going on, but Gideon convinces them that Corr and Clea are the ones after Wyatt. Phoebe steals some high level powers for herself and vanquishes Corr and Clea. The Charmed Ones are relieved to have gotten rid of the demons who are after Wyatt. Gideon is relieved to have gotten the Charmed Ones off his tail. Gideon's cohort Sigmund decides that Gideon is doing the wrong thing, and goes to tell the Charmed Ones what's going on, but Gideon vanquishes him for the "greater good."

Now that they think Wyatt is safe, Chris is eager to get back to his own time before he is born in this one. Sheila is upset by Darryl's attitude lately, and can't believe he would really shut out the girls like he has. Gideon decides to set his plan to eliminate Wyatt into motion, but needs to get Wyatt's many guardians out of the way first. Gideon messes with the spell that's designed to take Chris, and his escort Leo, back to Chris's original time, and instead sends them to a mirror world where good and evil are reversed. Evil Chris and evil Leo are sent to our world. Phoebe and Paige track down the evil guys and capture them, and then go into the evil world to get good Chris and good Leo back. They battle it out with their evil counterparts, and find out from Barbas, the good demon of hope, that Gideon is behind the plot against Wyatt. Meanwhile, Piper goes into labor. Phoebe and Paige and their evil counterparts use the Power of Four to protect Wyatt from Gideon in both worlds, and to open the portal again to get everyone back to their correct worlds. Phoebe and Paige rush to get to Piper in the hospital, but a neighborhood watch guy shoots her point-blank for parking in her neighbor's driveway.

Leo heals Phoebe, and they all figure out that because the four sisters did such a good deed in the evil world, they have thrown off the balance of good and evil, and now the good world is so good that every offense is a capital one and it's sunny 24 hours a day. Gideon teams up with Barbas to get Piper, who has become cheerful about everything, to cast a spell on her sisters to make them happy all the time. Barbas goes after Leo, showing him his worst fear of an evil grown-up Wyatt, and Gideon goes after Wyatt, stabbing Chris in the process. Chris cries out for his father, but there's nothing Leo can do because Gideon's magic is killing Chris. Chris dies and fades away in Leo's arms. An enraged Leo finally tracks down Gideon who is preparing to kill Wyatt. Leo channels a strong electric power, sizzling Gideon, and performing the great act of evil that will put the worlds back into balance. Piper starts hemmorahging, and comes close to death, but manages to survive the C-section and has a healthy baby boy... Chris.
